Better Nutrition
- Keep food records - write down everything you eat and drink.
- Eat mindfully.
- Do not skip meals.
- Do not eat most of your caloric intake late in the day.
- Drink more water.
- Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables daily.
- Eat a variety of foods at each meal.
- Increase your intake of low fat dairy products.
- Limit your total fat intake - eat more mono and polyunsaturated fats and limit your saturated and hydrogenated fats.
- Eat more fiber - 25 grams per day.
- Eat more whole grains, and less white flour.
- Monitor your portion size.
- Be active most days.
