Understanding Clean Eating

Eating clean is the practice of avoiding processed and refined foods and basing your diet on whole foods.  The act of clean eating involves making choices alike swapping out cereals for organic granola, or grabbing a cheese stick from the fridge versus Cheez Its.  Many people who try eating clean feel empowered by their new awareness of exactly what is entering their body.  Clean eating is the road to proper nutrition, disease management, weight lose, toxin removal, and improvement to one's overall well being.
